Where to Stay

We recommend staying locally to Halse or one of its nearby villages if possible - Bishop's Lydeard, Milverton, or Wiveliscombe all come highly recommended.

 

Whilst The New Inn does usually have rooms, we have already booked these out for close family. 

Lots of lovely locals have generously offered up their spare beds/rooms etc, so if you wish to stay close by we can put you in touch - just pop Rohanna or James a message and we'll get you matched up!

 

If you would like to stay more centrally to Taunton there is plenty to do and see in the town as well.​ There are tonnes of different Airbnbs and hotels to stay at nearby, but we've curated a small selection below for you to start your search off:

Parking

Parking is available on the field behind the Village Hall that will be clearly signposted.

There is EV charging at the Hall.

Whilst there are no shops in the village, the nearest places to buy food/drink etc will be:

If you are staying more centrally in Taunton town, Uber is available but booking in advance is again recommended due to distance and potential internet issues. Unless you're staying in Taunton, Uber probably isn't a viable option.
