The Village of Halse
We have chosen to celebrate our marriage in the village of Halse in Somerset. Halse is home to Han's parents, and is situated approximately 6 miles north west of Taunton.

With a population of just under 300 people, Halse is a small but beautiful remote village. Be warned the internet here is patchy, with street lights and local shops non-existent! As such planning ahead of time is essential; so please make sure your Satnavs are loaded and your torches & snacks packed well ahead of arrival.
The New Inn

The New Inn is a community-run pub with a good range of drinks, boasting an excellently priced food menu as well.

Located just a stone's throw from the Village Hall, The New Inn is the perfect pitstop on your way to or from the wedding reception.

The Village Hall
The celebrations will take place in the Village Hall, neighbouring marquee and surrounding field. All being well we will be spending most of the day/night partying outside of the Hall - not in it.

Whilst our wedding is in June, please keep the field/marquee in mind when planning your outfits/footwear.
